A team led by Chinese scientist "Crazy Li" has developed small drones with powerful metal-cutting lasers. These drones can emit near-infrared lasers 200 million times more powerful than typical beams, capable of causing blindness and cutting through metal.

 

The drones receive powerful laser beams from the ground and precisely redirect them. This innovation could allow drones to strike targets around obstacles and enhance response speed in future applications. The main challenge is preventing beam scattering due to vibration during flight.
